Untamed Tribe LLC

This Force Majeure & Uncontrollable Events Policy explains how Untamed Tribe LLC (“Untamed Tribe”) addresses events that are beyond reasonable control and may affect scheduled expeditions, courses, or activities.
1. Definition of Force Majeure Events
Force majeure or uncontrollable events may include, but are not limited to:
- Severe or unexpected weather conditions
- Natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires)
- Government actions, regulations, or border closures
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- Labor strikes, transportation disruptions, or infrastructure failures
- Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or armed conflict
- Failure of utilities or communication systems
2. Impact on Trips & Activities
If a force majeure event occurs, Untamed Tribe may, at its discretion:
- Modify itineraries or routes
- Delay, interrupt, or shorten activities
- Cancel trips or activities entirely
- Terminate an activity early for safety reasons
Decisions are made with participant and group safety as the primary consideration.
3. Refunds & Credits
Force majeure events are governed by the Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy.
Untamed Tribe does not guarantee refunds or credits for force majeure disruptions. Participants are strongly encouraged to carry independent trip insurance to cover losses related to uncontrollable events.
4. No Guarantee of Continuation
Untamed Tribe does not guarantee that any activity will proceed as planned in the event of force majeure circumstances.
5. Relationship to Other Policies
This policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms & Conditions and Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy.
